Transitional Kindergarten

Welcome to our TK Program! At Jefferson Elementary, we believe that the earliest years of learning lay the foundation for a lifetime of success.

Our Transitional Kindergarten (TK) program provides a warm, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment where young learners explore, create, and grow every day. 

Whether your child is just beginning their educational journey or preparing to transition into Kindergarten, our program focuses on building confidence, curiosity, and social-emotional skills alongside early literacy, math, and motor development. Led by caring, credentialed educators, we support each child’s unique learning path and readiness.

To enroll for the 2025 – 26 school year, children must be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2025 to attend Transitional Kindergarten. 

For Kindergarten, children must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2025 to attend
